This won't be the best Italian food you've ever had, but the service and staff make it a pleasure. If you go more than once, I guarantee everyone will remember you and will welcome you back with open arms. Some advice: Fordham students should know that you get a discount with your student ID!

Wow Where do I start?... As soon as we steped in it smelled musty and moldey... I told my husband that as soon as the stench went up my nose but he wanted to stay.... The only good thing we had at this joint was the cool glasses of water. They served us three day old bread and a really lame salad. I ordered the chicken Scarpiello and my husband got the lingiuni with red clam sauce... they made us wait for an hour for our entree.. There was this creepy dude seating across from us who was giving this place high praises over the food.. So we were hoping for something spectacular after waiting a freaking hour.. The brilliant chef served me all dark meat and neck bones with a side of kneecaps that they were expecting me to pay 18 bucks for.. I felt like we were being robed... My husband's pasta was raw like you can break your teeth eating that and get constipated to boot.. Terrible terrible place.. While waiting for an hour for this fifth world meal we obsevered all of the dirty walls and fixtures... This place is being runned by some really wierd folks that don't know squat about customer service... Too bad that people consider this good italian eats... We left that garbage right there and refused to pay...

The Streets of The Bronx band was wonderful. The food was worse than dog food. No matter what dish it was it was covered in chicken gravy and canned mushrooms.

Do not go this restaurant - the food was poison , the service was pathetic and the prices were sky high. It is a shame that they have been in business for 5 generations and won't be able to make it to the 6th.
