I loved this restaurant! What a sweet ambiance. There was a very low-key (and good!) live band playing a corner, and the interior is cozy and charming. The food wasn't extraordinary, but still very nice. I'd say the quaintness and the general feel of the place is its main asset, and a very good one indeed.

i went to AG the other night with a friend, expecting a nice experience. the ambience and decor are chill and beautiful - the chandeliers, gorgeous. there was even a live jazz duo, which were great - only added to the fab atmosphere! i tried the strawberry margarita - which was more like medicine than i had hoped. the hummus, cheese stuffed calamari, and chocolate profiteroles were scrummy! however, our waiter was one of the worst i've ever experienced ... never checked on us, when i inquired about an entree, he basically repeated back the name of it to me without absolutely no insights, and only came to our table as we got up to leave {despite waiting for the check for at least 15 minutes after having our places cleared}. decent service goes a LONG way. there's too many all-around fantastic places in NYC, so unfortunately because of the waiter, my dining parter and i most likely would not go back.

The unique food and decor of antique garage is an excellent choice for me and friends during the day or at night. They serve authentic Mediterranean cuisine with great selections of wine from South America and Europa. Also they have a live jazz band during the week and on Sunday brunch. One of the most important thing is that i like about the restaurant is the friendliest staff and good choice of music..this restaurant is a MUST if you are around mercer & grand.

I had heard so many good things about this place and it absolutely lived up to it's reputation. I was there with a group of friends on a Friday night and had a GREAT time. The atmosphere and the music was fantastic. Friendly servers and the amazing mediterranean dishes made this place an instant favorite in our short list of "go to" spots... Comfortable atmosphere, yet chic and great food! Must try spicy shrimp, vegetarian pizette and almost all the other small plates on the menu..delicious!!!

A friend hosted a birthday party here last night and a RAT ran under our table. Gross! Waitstaff tried to play it off and pretend like nothing was wrong. So, something tells me this isn't the first time they've had this problem. Vomit. This place isn't anywhere I or you or anyone else would ever, ever want to eat again.

Had lunch at this restaurant recently because we were going to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - NYC across the street. Place looked inviting, and there was no wait. My daughters seemed to enjoy their salads, but I was disappointed with my pasta. The sauce was very bland, and the price was rather high. The waiter was very attentive, and the atmosphere was fine. Just work on that sauce, because we would like to come back !.

this is the perfect soho/west village spot - under the radar, cute, great decor, romantic, and most imporantly, delicious food!! the portions are normal (for once!!), the wine is great, and the service is perfect (and that's a lot for nyc). highly recommend it!

Great decor and horrible service. I had the Menemen for brunch ($12) which had the size of a side dish! I thought that it was a joke. Also the waiters took for ever to get our order . It's not worth the price. I think that none of the four friends that went will go back again. It's a shame as the location is great and the decoration is very nice, but there are enough good restaurants in NYC to spend your money in a mediocre one.

This is the kind of restaurant you look for in soho - very cute, off a side street, great lighting, fresh and delicious food. and all that would make it perfect if it wasn't for the terrible service. I have been here twice and both times loved the food and did not understand what the attitude was about. maybe third time's the charm...
