When you walk into Bamante's the first thing that hits you is the aroma of classic Italian food. Most notably the smell of garlic. The waiters are all very knowledgable and if you are a regular customer, they will even buy you an after dinner drink. But, the main reason to go is for the food. Any of the specials are terrific. On the main menu, try the pork chops pizziola. Execellent. I highly recommend this place.

Bamonte's has been a part of my family's dining experience for years and they are still my all time favorite! Over the years they have been consistant with prices, service, and FLAVOR. They are real home towm cooking.

Went to Bamonte's on a Saturday night with a group of friends. Service was not good and the food was even worse. Totally un-memorable, bland American-Italian food.

Bamonte's is the quintessential Brooklyn Italian restaurant. This century old restaurant has always been family run and it shows in the quality and service you receive. Escarole and Potatoes are made to perfection. Anything you order as a main entree will be great. The recipes are time tested. The Kitchen, which you can see, is immaculate. If every restaurant was this meticulous health inspectors and food critics would be out of a job. Entree portions are not gigantic so get some delicious appetizers. Don't worry, in this case, its definitely quality over quantity. Ask Jack Nicholson and Mike Piazza what they think about the Veal. Bon appetit!
