My friend and I went to Bar Celona for dinner. We had a restaurant.com coupon and were upfront with the fact that we wanted to use it at the beginning of the meal. The service was extremely slow (it took 30 mins between tapas dishes) and when we went to order more food (to put us over the min spend on the coupon) we were told the chef went home and we wouldn't be able to use the coupon. The owner told us it was the servers fault and we could force him to pay the difference if we wanted but she wouldn't honor the certificate. She was rude, and short with us. I will never go back to the restaurant.

Not very customer service friendly. Recently there and saw them refuse entree to a well dresses handicapped person ahead of me on line because she was wearing flats after foot Surgery. Also refuse to have mngt come out. Place was cool dispute the situation outside. I'm sure if she bought a bottle they woulda let her in.

I was a bit put off by the dark walls, studded-furniture and animal-print upholstery, to me, reminiscent of a 1998 bachelor pad. Altogether, the decor seemed more fitting for the meat packing district than Williamsburg, particularly as neighboring establishments favor the (intentionally) distressed look to the a masculine manicured one. However, while the decor may be out of place, the food certainly wasn't. The small tapas plates were all phenomenal, and the drinks were inventive and perfectly seasonal. My suggestion is to ask the staff what's best - they advised exceptionally well.
