I went for drinks & appetizers w/ friends. The drinks are SO overpriced, the food is OK and the service is terrible! Plus, I saw 3 cockroaches. I know that many outdoor places have issues with them, but put some traps down, people!

What a pain in the ass of a place to get into. They make you wait. And wait. And wait... you would think you are about to see the crown jewels or the president or something. The bar and the upstairs terrace is pretty phenomenal - it is worth it to go once to check it out. And I'd go back if it was a business event and I didn't have to jump through the hoops. But otherwise... why? I have a healthy self esteem and feel zero need to pay a ton of money to be abused that way. Yeah, there are lotsa lotsa beautiful and fashionable people there - so what - get Vogue. But when you get right down to it, the "beds" are extraordinarily uncomfortable places to eat. I made the horrible mistake of being in a skirt when I went...it was terribly uncomfortable. And seeing what some poeple are doing on them... oh yuck! Not sure its that hygenic... The food is very well prepared, tasty with wonderful presentation. But nothing was memorable or wotthy of special mention - definitely not good enough to justify the prices they charge.
