We had highly enjoyed Belcourt for the past several years; however, the arrival of a new chef has transformed this neighborhood gem into a no-go zone. Best avoided.

What is not to like here. Great happy hour with discounted oysters and drinks. I have had the pleasure of enjoying dinner several times. Sock-eyed salmon last time and my wife chose some of their wonderful appetizers. Sweetbreads as an app-=who would have thought! We havent gone for brunch yet-but it seems always busy and the menu seems very unique and tempting. Service is attentive without being pushy. Music-lighting-decor make this a chill date place or a fun place to people-watch.

I had dinner with my friends here at outdoor seating. My friend recommended this place for us. I don't remember the food name but they were all great,,,very creative..but try them very delicious. Service was friendly and helpful. Belcourt is located at the corner of 2nd ave and 4th street, it is real nice spot to see East Village scene. Outdoor seating at Belcourt is very attractive.

I've eaten brunch here with my bf on last Sunday. We got a seat at outdoor. My friend recommended brunch of this place. I ordered French toast and Pani Frattau...all were very delish. They served a coffee which was available to refill for free. Waitress was so friendly.

Food is to die for, they are all deliious. I've been there for brunch, happy hour, dinner. During April, they offer free glass of wine for dinner. I had dinner with my friend yesterday we mentioned "Belcourt for April" and got it for free. It's just fun and pleased.

If you get to know chef "Matt", you should have brunch or dinner here. At least, he loves foods. Belcourt uses organic and fresh ingredients for every food and that's why I became a big fan of belcourt. Decor, service all are excellent. My friends I brought now like Belcourt. I really really love this place.

I've seen Belcourt on tastingtalbe, Nymag, timeout newyork, seriouseater and so on. I had brunch here many times and I highly recommend Pani Frattau and vanilla & bourbon French toast. They provide good service and wine list. Recently, they are doing event during april. If you mention "belcourt for april", you can free soup for a day and glass of wine for evening. maybe mention and ask it to server.
