After my Italian 101 final, my husband decided to take me out to an Italian Restaurant as a treat. I chose Bella Via and I did not regret it! The friendly owner, from Salerno,Campagna came out to greet us and we spoke a bit of Italian. The Calamari was " delizioso", fresh and crispy. Our wonderful waitress Crystal helped us pick our entrees and the food was tasty and just right! They serve large portions though but you can always take the rest home! Cons: A little background music would not hurt ( Chris Botti, Frank Sinatra, Andrea Bocelli ) I will defenitely go back !!!!!!!!

I recently started a new job in LIC and have spent a few weeks searching for a lunch spot that I can call my own.....I've found it ! The Margherita pizza is delicious, the service friendly & attentive and the atmosphere warm and inviting. Sal is a great host and I will be back at least twice a week for lunch and friendly converstaions. A great place !

This place is amazing. The pizza is out of this world but that is not all, all of the food is delicious. The steak with Gargonzola sauce is unbelievable, and the spinach gnocchi you will never forget. I have been here numerous times and each time it blows my mind. Well worth it. You will love it. The staff is great.

Stumbled on Bella Via about a year ago and have been a regular ever since. Comfortably elegant with good food and service, varied menu, reasonable prices, convenient on-street parking (plus subway access) and I can always get a table. Take a date, take friends, take business associates, take the family...just don't go too often. Want Bella Via to succeed, but don't want it to get too popular. Note: this place would be packed (and expensive) if it were in Manhattan.

We enjoyed our night at Bella Via. We found it in New York magazine. The pizza was great, thin crust brick oven. The grilled calamari was out of this world too. The pastas were also very good. It is worth the trip to LIC.
