It's the first time I post a review on a website. Just came back from Bistro Citron and had such a wonderful experience I thought I'd write a review. Rarely have I been greeted so warmly. I had the "Sole meuniere", Superb. The waitress, French and American, was dedicated and truly enjoyable. The decor was ok - could be improved and the music a bit too melancholic, but overall - a Great Experience. I'm definately coming back.

After my husband and I saw a 21 food rating in Zagats for this particular restaurant, we saw it as a solid choice for Friday night dinner/wine. We ordered wine by the glass and swore that it was watered down. After sending back the first round, we got more of the same. The steak frites was more like steak alpo -it was dry, tough and never had a chance. We rarely, if ever, review restaurants on this site, but we felt the need to put it out there. If you're looking for a good French restaurant similar in price, go across the park to Le Steak or Brasserie Julien. We have ALWAYS had good experiences there.
