Since I dine solo a lot, how I'm treated as a "table for one" is the real test of a restaurant for me. Blossom failed miserably. Quickly: I was ignored at the door after a couple ahead of me was cheerfully greeted and seated; though the restaurant was 3/4 empty, I was told there were no tables; an obnoxious greeter thought it would be more interesting to check his texts than answer a couple of questions. I used to encounter a lot of this in the late '90s; Blossom, unfortunately, still feels like that kind of cliche.

Blossom is on their game. Unique dishes and exquisite preparation make for mouth-watering, succulent vegan fare, the likes of which is scarcely found in this city. Try the Port Wine Seitan for a gastronomic bliss-gasm of tender, saucy seitan that falls apart in your mouth the way an expertly-prepared steak would. Squisito!

Im usually not a big fan of vegan food since its often too dry but I have to admit that the dishes I tried in Blossom were good. Friendly service.

Excellent vegan food, very nice service and not too expensive. I brought a group of 6 here and everything arrive as ordered, at the same time and all of it great.

I am a vegetarian who usually finds the muted flavors of Western vegetarian restaurants disappointing. Blossom is different. I can't believe I hadn't tried in the months since it opened. Blossom is a small treasure, it does certain things very well, for example, the black-eyed pea cakes were a subtle variation on potato latkes, crisp and wholesome. The portions are ample, including phyllo encrusted roasted vegetables. The vegan chili actually made my friend do a double-take, since the textured vegetable protein really looked and tasted like meat. I know, I know, you don't believe me. But really. It was the closest thing yet to real chili I've had since going veg 2 years ago. Decor is nice, though some elements seem out of place like the smoked-glass lettering of the restaurant name on an inside wall. Very reasonably priced and pleasant service.
