The best BLT restaurant

This is my favorite BLT restaurant! It has a little bit of everything! BLT Fish and Fish Shack has mainly seafood, BLT Steak has mainly steaks, etc. I am completely in love with this restaurant! Their staff is more than helpful (managers included)! I have to say that I have never had a bad experience in this restaurant. If you are looking for a great quality meal, and have never been to any of the BLT's, then I think you should definitely go to BLT Prime first. They have an amazing wine selection also. Great food, great service! A definite must. Pros:Has a little bit of everything - amazing quality meal

Went last night and *every* side we ordered plus my main was definitely over-salted. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she said the cooks are "generous with their seasonings". That, or they want to make you thirsty and run up a big bar tab. Perhaps it's my folly for going on a Saturday night, but there is nothing special about that place. Among the too-salty dishes were the filet, hash browns, gnocchi, tater tots and hen of the woods. The other distinctly average dishes were the spinach, ceasar salad.

I've actually been to both BLT Steak and Prime. I would have to say that Prime overall offered the better experience. The menu was nearly identical at both, same quality meal at both. The prime dining space, however, is much nicer. Steak feel claustrophobic in comparison. Since the food is amazing at both, I would say take a date uptown, but plan a large dinner party at BLT Prime.

Recently took family visiting from out-of-town to BLT Prime and everyone was impressed. Great atmosphere, food and service! Must try the spinach and asparagus! I definitely will be going back.

I brought my parents here from out of town. They're from Minnesota and it was their first time in New York City. They loved the Dry Aged Room and swooned over the pop-overs. My mom is still raving about the blue-cheese tater tots. The service was excellent and courteous and the servers were very patient and kind with my out-of-town parents. Thanks!

I have one word to describe this place...Delicious! The Steak was cooked to perfection and just melted in my mouth. I highly reccommend the mashed potatoes and Bernaise sauce! The space was beautiful, although it can get a bit noisy. The service was so overly vigilant, I couldn't even believe it! This restaurant is a must. You're in for a real treat!
