We just had dinner at Bond 45. The restaurant is way over priced, even with the standard of Manhattan Theater District. The service is ok, the food is NOT impressive. This was our first time in NYC. We felt ripped off.

On our first trip to NYC we visited this resturant. We were very disappointed with the price and the amount of food we received. My husband and myself had ordered pasta with meat sauce and what we got was a half a bowl of spaghetti, 1 piece of bread and a bottle of tap water. The hostess and waiter were very pleasant, and they were very prompt with our food, just not enough for money we spent.

My wife and I had a late lunch or early dinner today. I also found the menu very pricey. The food was bland but the waiters were excellent. I had one major problem because at the bottom of their menu, it mentioned that a tip of 18% will be included for a party of 6 or more. There were only two of us, yet they already incorporated the 18% tips. I would rather dine at Tony's di Napoli, Asiate, Gyu-Kaku, or Jean-Georges...

My wife and I ate here last night. The food is not up to the price. Her Italian meatloaf was fine, but should have been served hot. Her mashed potatoes were average. My filet mignon was dry and served with a piece of buffalo mozzarella on top that had gotten stiff by the time my plate arrived thus erasing the best quality of mozzarella: creaminess. I would suggest sticking with Gorgonzola. Vegetables were tasty. Service was ok if not enthusiastic. Word is that it is the best Italian steakhouse in Manhattan. One wonders how many there are.

An overpriced, unusual restaurant. Unimpressive menu offered in a timely manner by courteous servers. The food was good, albeit overpriced, even by Manhattan Theater District standards.

My wife and I frequently visit one or more of Shelly's restaurants, so Bond 45 is very predictable. It is in line with his other establishments; good selection, well prepared, and a little pricy but not out of line. Great dishes: the fried artichoke is to die for, the carbonara is top rate. Fish is also done well and my daughter thought the chicken in clay pot was superb. This is not goumet but a fun meal.

Bond 45 is much more about Italian than American (You did recall James always carried a Berretta not a 45). This very large place just off Times Square follows the Shelly Fireman traditon, great space, decent service, fine menu with satisfactory preparations. And like the other places, prices on the high side. A great additon to the neighborhood.

My date and I were met with warm smiles, great service & enjoyed the warm atmosphere. We ordered the Gorgonzola Bruschetta as an appetizer and loved it! I was very disappointed by my Fettucine with Ragu Meat sauce - the sauce was bland and reminded me of cafeteria food. My dates' pizza more than made up for my sauce's lack of flavor, and it was large enough to share. I would recommend this restaurant to friends.

I am 10 years old. I went to Bond 45 for my big sister's birthday. I had the shrimp scampi and I thought it was awesome. The only negative was the steak,I asked for well done, but it was rare tasting to me. I really liked the service, they were really into making us feel happy to be there. They were friendly. I also liked the decorations a lot ,because it created a nice italian feel.
