My date and I were met with warm smiles, great service & enjoyed the warm atmosphere. We ordered the Gorgonzola Bruschetta as an appetizer and loved it! I was very disappointed by my Fettucine with Ragu Meat sauce - the sauce was bland and reminded me of cafeteria food. My dates' pizza more than made up for my sauce's lack of flavor, and it was large enough to share. I would recommend this restaurant to friends.

Bond 45 is much more about Italian than American (You did recall James always carried a Berretta not a 45). This very large place just off Times Square follows the Shelly Fireman traditon, great space, decent service, fine menu with satisfactory preparations. And like the other places, prices on the high side. A great additon to the neighborhood.

My wife and I frequently visit one or more of Shelly's restaurants, so Bond 45 is very predictable. It is in line with his other establishments; good selection, well prepared, and a little pricy but not out of line. Great dishes: the fried artichoke is to die for, the carbonara is top rate. Fish is also done well and my daughter thought the chicken in clay pot was superb. This is not goumet but a fun meal.
