I just wanted to once again thank all of our loyal customers for all the support through the years. And as of Tuesday, September 23rd Kenny's Trattoria will be open. For those of you who don't know him, Kenny is the former owner of Brick Oven Gallery. The menu at Kenny's Trattoria offers a selection of pasta dishes, including a homemade ravioli of the day, several chicken, pork and beef dishes along with a couple of seafood dishes. The location is 7 Withers St. which is actually just two blocks down from Brick Oven Gallery. We hope to see you all soon!!

Hi All. Brick Oven Gallery had its last day and served its last pizza on 7.20.08. My Uncle owns the place so I would know. We ended on a good note with all of our regular customers there to help us mark the day. It was sort of bittersweet. We hopefully will be relocating within a month. We just wanted everyone to know we officially closed and are absolutely no longer at 33 Havemeyer St. Thank you to all of our loyal customers and we look forward to seeing you soon!!

This is the best thin-crust, brick-oven-baked pizza in Brooklyn and the owner treats patrons like family. He always makes special vegan pizzas for my friends, that aren't on the menu. I meet here with a crowd for my birthday every year. It's probably too late to do anything about it, but this Williamsburg staple has to close his doors because the landlords raised the rent beyond his means, and the owner is too good of a guy to raise his prices. Do him and yourself a big favor in the next couple weeks and eat here as much as possible. The appetizers are also killer.

Brick Oven Gallery is, in my experience, the only place in the US that comes close to the true style and flavor of the pizza of Naples and its environs. The 120 year-old wood burning oven churns out simply excellent pizza, ranging from tried and true Margarite to the excellent Tartufo Bianco which features goat cheese, mushrooms and truffle oil. The pasta dishes I have had here have always been very good as well, with the Orchietti being a favorite. Cash only, but there is an ATM at the store down the block. Definitely the best, most authentic Naples-style pizza in New York.

I hadn't been to the B.O.G. in a while, but went the other night with some friends. Everything was just as delicious as I remembered, and they had a makeover too! This time, I enjoyed my two favorite dishes (it's a great place to share,) - the roasted chicken orichette in cream sauce, and the Peter Favorite pie with fresh arugula, proscutto and shaved parmesan - in a newly painted and apholstered, very charming restaurant. Kenny (the owner, who's super-cool) had added some new wines to the menu. One was titled "California Red." Sound risky? It was delicious. And all this came out to about $35 per person, with appetizers, entrees and wine. I didnt take advantage of it this time, but they do have a great espresso! Try it out, you'll like it, I promise.

Been a big fan since opening but in the last year or so things have gone down hill. The owner has had problems and unfortunately it has hit the food quality. My pasta special had no flavor at all. They were closed several times for health code violations (according to the signs) and the food does not have that authentic taste I had come to expect. I usually drop $50 to $100 on dinner for two and it is just not worth it anymore. It is really sad as this place was a gem. Hope they can turn things around.

after 41/2 years still The best, the pizza gets better and better if you like thin crust..this is the place ,fresh ingredients ,warm friendly service and apps and pasta's make you forget your in a pizza rest. I had fresh papparedelle with a light cream sauce ,roasted wild mushrooms and truffle oil for 12.95. I would have happily paid twenty. brick oven shrimp and brooklyn caviar are 2 of the best apps around, why go anywhere else for italian in the burg when Brick oven does it so well.

Delicious pizzas and tasty italian staples. It's one of those places people haven't really discovered yet, and you hope they never do.

My family owns Brick Oven Gallery, and even if they didnt own it I would love it. For one the pizza is magnificant and the pastas are to die for. And as for the salads and paninni you cant get them like this anywhere...well unless you travel to Italy, and I still dont think they could top it! I definatly think that Brick Oven Gallery should be a nominee for the Best of New York's pizza!!
