I've lived around the corner from brooklyn label since it first opened its doors, and I used to LOVE this place! I'm telling you, the food was so good. Granted, the menu was a bit more limited than it is now, but all offerings were worth the price. Since, I would say, about mid 2008 its been a steady decline in satisfaction. the food sounds great on paper but it's never what you wanted it to be when it arrives. Last time I was there I found bits of brillo pad in my mac and cheese. Good cup of coffee though!!

Best brunch in BK. Order anything on the menu because it's delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and makes you feel like you can stay for hours (though sometimes they're really busy). The only downside is that it is slightly more expensive then other restaurants in the area. Definite must go... only one word can describe how wonderful this place is... AWESOME.

I recently took a friend to BL for her birthday breakfast. She was so happy with the meal we had. I love this spot, the decor is beautiful, and the servers are friendly. The food is very good. The chef made a good move opening this spot up. the Eggs benedict and the tofu dish at brunch are great choices. they use organic eggs, fresh spinach and tomato...the tofu is lightly curry spiced...and the hash browns remind me of what I'd find at the best country diners in maine. highly recommended.
