Lovely meal and well-looked after by the fabulous waiters. The meal was delicious, tasty and well-presented. Reasonably priced, will return soon!!

For a $20 pizza (appetizer for 4), I would much sooner go to East Village italian "peers" Gnocco, APizz, or Three of Cups for authentic brick over pizza.

If you want to taste a pice of Sicily go there. No questions on the best southern "real" italian restaurant of Nyc.

This is one of NYC's best kept secrets! It is la piccola sicilia of New York! Chef Salvatore Fraterrigo (who wrote a book on Sicilian food in Italy) surprises you with solare flavor pairings. Giusto, the owner, treats you as if you are a part of his Sicilian famiglia when you eat at his table. I spend most of my time creating culinary tours to Sicily and so I am fortunate enough to eat in Sicily most of the time. But when I am in NY, this is the only place where I can taste authentic flavors of la bella Sicilia. They also offer tastings and pizza party nights now and then. How does swordfish with bread crumbs, capers, green olives, zucchini and mint sauce sound. Tuna with fresh herb cous cous. I tried shrimp with fava beans and fennel! Mamma mia! Che Buono! If you go just tell them Renee sent you! Please check my blog www.lemonsandoregano.com for info about my adventures and tours in Sicilia. Un caro saluto, Renee www.reneerestivo.com www.soulofsicily.com
