As I was reading the other reviews I was shocked at how awful they where to this place. Me and my dad we both loved our food (he had a pasta I don't remember which one and so did I and both were awesome) And the staff I thought they where attentive and quite polite so I did not see any real problem here with the staff
rude wait staff

the food is not the worst, we tried the pizza margherita, but not worth the money, it's an expensive place. the wait stuff just SUCKS, they are SO RUDE. It looked like we pissed the waitress off just because we didnt seem to order enough food...whatever, I would not recommend it at all. As I said, not worth the money, go somewhere else.

Servers don't know the rules, what king of management that don't care about service? one day me and my 3 other friends were waiting on our food next to the bar,the server was too busy to impress owner's relative or whatever a lady sitting there ..its not nice . Otherwise food is good. they need proper experienced servers. They person served us , it took him 4 times to come to our table to bring our drinks . It was really funny that he can't even bring 2 person's drinks together , he supposed to bring all the drink at the same time for same table . what a lousy service .

Just don't go here. Just don't do it. It's really bad. The wait staff couldn't care less, the kitchen is dirty, and the food is gross. Find another place in the area. Anywhere else.
Great Italian Food

I've now been here twice and I love it, the food is brilliant and served to perfection by a great waitstaff. However beware of small portions! Sodas are about 6 oz. and pasta dishes are tiny at best.
worst service, worst attitude, racial discrimination
By darkblue on 10/19/2008
The worst service and attitude, asked for a glass of water when sat down, and still not get it when food came, it was over half an hour, finally brought to the table after the forth time asking, but even without a sorry. charged the tips without the shame, a lots of service people just standing there for nothing. The people there are racial discrimination, rude and unblushing, becasue when people for next table were serviced the water within five mins. would not go there again for sure.

All I can say is that they need to teach some manners to the wait staff!!!

Bari's is a gem. My girlfriends go to NYU and stumbled upon Bari's their freshman year of college. We've been going ever since. The perfect meal is a greek salad, pizza margherite, dessert and coffee. It's absolutely amazing and a good place to eat if you're waiting to get your iPod fixed because the Apple store is just down the block... Plus the waiters are quite nice to look at during dinner. I'm going tonight!
