Wanted to go with graduate school son for memorable Sunday afternoon brunch: his 25th birthday. Mission Accomplished. Decided to explore Queens and ended up at 2:30 pm in front of Cafe Henri after drive over Hunters Point Bridge. Explored the area briefly, taking in delightful sunny weather and Manhattan views. No wait for a table, parking free right in front on Sunday. Security detail flagged celebrity guest inside. Loved the eggs benedict and sandwiches we had- served with high quality roast potatoes and salads. Service was friendly, very accommodating of special requests. Will return for dinner for coq au vin with mashed potatoes that was being served next to us, crepes, homemade choc mousse on the menu. Tables included well-behaved children and artists.
