If I could, I would brunch here every day of the week! The lemon-sugar crepes, omlettes, french onion soups.. Everything is exactly how it should be. Only drawback, on Sundays (especially), they get OVERCROWDED and you sometimes wait and wonder if its worth it. I still think it is, but may you be warned. It gets a little hectic and I've gotten frustrated once or twice on a particularly busy Sunday or two.

The posters and French objects hanging on the walls, the huge bowls of steaming cafe au lait, the newspapers strewn about and the French being spoken give these places an authenticity so reminiscent of Paris. And you can sit forever, reading, chatting - at any time of day. Breakfast eggs, tartines (French bread with jam), buttery croissants or rich almond croissants, thick French toast - you can't miss for your morning meal. The coffee is fabulous. Lunch is a presentation of salads, omelettes and sandwiches, all reasonably priced and nicely done. The nicoise and salmon on top of greens are two of my favorites - costing around $12. Dinners - and you don't know how they turn out this variety of foods with such a tiny kitchen - are fine though I prefer this place in summer as the door opening can be disruptive when it's cold out. They have a reasonable wine selection and terrific fries. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere, though crowded, is fun. Good for French tourists and Americans alike.
