I live in the neighborhood and have been to Cafe Ronda more times than I can count. The waitstaff is unfailingly kind and courteous, if not the most polished servers. The food is great, uncomplicated solid fare. Good starters include the roasted corn with cotijo cheese and a dusting of red pepper. The calamari are good, as is the jamon serrano plate. The burger is very good, and the mixed grill for two is a bargain--and more than two people could ever finish. For lunch, the grilled sandwiches, such as the cubano or portobello, hit the spot. And the fries are always delicious. The tasty mojitos make it a perfect low-key meal!

I have had both brunch and dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere is luring and you want it to be a great dining experience, but low and behold it is not. The brunch is passable, but the dinner is horrible. We ordered calamari, which appeared to be straight from the freezer. The rest of the meal was forgettable. If you want to have a liquid dinner, I suggest this place; for those of us who want to enjoy real good, go elsewhere.

This place is a gem! Wonderful pink sangria. The filet mignon was amazing. Good garlic spinach. Cheese plate was good too. Frozen Mojitos are yummy and mixta salad is refreshing. The service was nice. We sat forever and didn't feel we were being pushed out. I will go back asap!
