cheerful waiters, great service, good mojitos, but not that great food and a mediocre value. despite being greasy and oily, it was pretty bland, but you do get a giagantic portion. the drinks were good but overpriced. wouldn't go back.

I have to admit I love pretty much anything fried, so its hard to decide between the tostones and the bollos here... The food in general is great though - if they have the sea bass on special, jump on it. My friends had the churrasco and loved every bite. I am not Cuban so I have to rely on what I have heard when people say its the most authentic Cuban food they have had outside of Miami. The only drawback - its a small place so it gets CRAZY some nights. They do a lot of take out business so I guess things can be hectic in the kitchen when its especially busy. I have been back a dozen times or so; my advice is go early, go often & bring cash (you dont need much - its also a fantastic bargain!)
