We came into the city on a busy holiday weekend. Took in a show and went to Campagnola after the show. The city was packed; streets near the theaters and Times Square were gridlocked, taxies at a dead standstill, people walking everywhere blocking the intersections. We were looking for a place away form the congestion and someone suggested Campagnola's. (Very happy to have been pointed in that direction.) It was away from the congestion and fabulous! We felt like family the minute we walked in. The food was terrific and the staff; especially "Frankie Dea", were all very good people. It's pricey; but, well worth the price. Places like this makes New York what it is; the city that holds my heart.
