Jacques Torres is laughing all the way to the bank, with his extortionate prices. I just get the cookies ($3 each), and don't dare touch anything else, even though it looks amazing, as it doesnt seem right to pay that much for chocolate. Recently I learned just how well Jacques Torres is laughing all the way to the bank!!! I paid a visit three days after Christmas in search of some discounted chocolate Santa Clauses or snowmen, only to learn that Jacques Torrres never has a sale. When I inquired as to what they do with all the unsold Christmas chocolates, I was informed that it is melted down and recycled to make new chocolate. So next time you visit Jacques Torres with the intention to pay inflated prices for tiny amounts of chocolate, ask yourself this: How old is this chocolate really? How many times has it been melted down and reconstructed before being sold to me at an extortionate price? What am i putting in my mouth...? And WHY WOULD I PAY TOP DOLLAR FOR RECYCLED CHOCOLATE ?!?!

We found this by mistake....but what a mistake it was! This was the best chocolate that I have ever had. The desserts are "to die for"! The prices are right and well worth every penny.
