The food is fantastic: Definitely do the tasting menu which is very reasonably priced. If not, the foie gras, the hamachi, and the beef with ravioli stuffed with oxtail and truffle oil are worth the trip out there alone. All were incredible. Really nice combination of French and Eastern cuisine. Service is very sweet and efficient. Perfect for couples, when you're out on the town in the L.E.S., need a great meal, or for times when you just can't think of anywhere in NYC where you can actually have a conversation! Menu changes monthly to keep things fresh as well. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

truly impressive place. informal, small, no: i'd say more intimate than anything. extremely flavorful food all produced in a tiny kitchen at the back. wednesday single ingredient night is recommended too. one of the better meals i have had in the past year - anywhere.
