Outstanding

As an infrequent visitor to the city, I searched this website long and hard for a special place. We were entertaining younger artist friends who live here, and who we do not see often, so I wanted to do something memorable. This place exceeded my high expectations. All said and done, we dropped about $600 for 5 people, and felt lucky. We were seated at 8:30 and when we told our waiter it was our first time there, he assured us,"We're open until midnight, so enjoy yourselves." The "gourmet salad bar" is more of a buffet with pasta, sushi, hot dishes, fish, shrimp, and so on. After a pass at the salad bar, I was shocked at the complements served at the table before the amazing parade of meat began. Potatoes, corn fritters, asparagus, fried bananas and more. Then, the meats circulated around the table. Sirlions, ribs, pork roasts, duck legs, chicken legs, turkey medallions wrapped in bacon, various ribs, and so on. Each server had a smile and something nice to say as they brought skewer after skewer of meat. When I hesitated at the beef ribs, the server said, "Oh, you don't want to miss this one," and he was right. They clearly enjoy attending every need, and making their customers happy. I dropped my fork, and before the ring of metal on the floor died down, a waiter was handing me a new one. My guests were shaking their heads in disbelief at the pleasurable decadence. We all agreed that there should be an eighth deadly sin named Churrascaria Tribeca.

AMAZING
By arican2nv on 6/4/2007
I decided to take my husband to this restaurant for his 33rd birthday along with my two children and the food was absolutely amazing. If you are a meat lover this is definitely the place for you. The staff was great and we received top notch service. The atmosphere was really nice. The children enjoyed it as well b/c the staff was GREAT with the kids. The food was cooked to perfection and there is not one bad thing I can say about this place. My husband really enjoyed the food, the drinks and was treated really good (I never told them it was his birthday either). My husband enjoyed himself so much that he thank me for 3 days and recommended this place to his co-workers. This place was truly amazing.

Tacky
By kabasan on 2/8/2005
Seemed more like a midtown tourist restaurant. Models opening doors & model like hostessing were over the top. Appetizer station was good but meat only came in Med-well & I couldn't get med-rare. Possible b/c it was still new & not enough customers. Environment was too stiff. Staff was very friendly & attentive.
