Good morning meals in huge sections. Their eggs and hot cakes are delightful and incorporate a wide range of designs very well. They don't offer you too many alternatives to add things to your bowl without included expenditures but it is value it.

I've heard so much hype about this place I had to try it out for myself. The hour long wait in the pouring rain put a bit of a damper on the experience as did being seated at the bar (the place is tiny) however, the food is, as claimed, pretty incredible! People say it's all about the pancakes and while mine were good, for me it was all about that homemade biscuit and jam. Still thinking about that thing. Yum!

This position is so value the lengthy travel. I came here with some buddies and we requested the hot cakes, which are a certain MUST for individuals different with Clinton St. Cooking Organization. They are known for their hot cakes and because of their infamy I realized I had to purchase them. Aside from that the furnishings in the position is enchanting in a simple bone type of way, I mean this is a enhance. This position is small so come here beginning or on per weeks time day and anticipate a delay.

My dad was in town for only a few hours on a long layover at JFK, so i thought we could go for breakfast. I had heard great things about Clinton St. Baking Co, so we decided to check it out. Not surprisingly, we had to wait about 40 min for a table mid-morning on a Saturday, but it was worth it. My dad had the pancakes (amazing!), and I had the southern breakfast (the fried green tomatoes were unbelievable!). The service was great, and the waitress even let my dad, who had just gotten off a 9 hr international flight, plug in his dying cell phone. I would go back anytime- can't wait to try lunch and dinner!

LONG Wait But Completely Worth It

I went for Sunday brunch and ended up waiting for 2 hours to get a table. Shortly after I put my name on the list I heard the hostess tell incoming patrons that the restaurant was booked until closing. However, if you have nothing planned, the wait is well worth waiting. My friend and I ordered the blueberry pancakes, vanilla bean waffles, spanish breakfast and eggs benedict and were extremely pleased. While the blueberry pancakes were the most raved about, I have to admit that I've had better. But I would still categorize these pancakes as one of the best on my list. (On a side-note: I was aware from numerous reviews online that the hostess allegedly suffers from an acute case of attitude, but I'm happy to report that we didn't experience any hostility during our visit.)

Looking for a killer breakfast? Head on down to The Clinton St. Baking Company and join the crowds of people who wait on endless lines for buttermilk biscuits and pancakes that can only be made by hands that are divine. The space is tight and lines are long but once you slide in and are served……..I promise you pure bliss awaits. Clinton St. Baking Company offers a wonderful variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes – everything here tastes so darned good. If you want to skip the lines I suggest going at off-peak hours – they do serve breakfast all day. They also have all kinds of yummy looking baked goods. Clinton St. Baking Company seems to have the perfect recipe for doing everything – just right!you. Always Worth It

Clinton Street Bakery is hands-down my favorite brunch in New York. The French Toast is made of two thick slabs of golden-brown bread covered with a small handful of pecans and sliced bananas (or apples) and served with a side of decadent maple butter that smooths off each rich bite. The pancakes, also accompanied by maple butter, are light and the slightly porous texture is almost frustratingly satisfying to chew. The gigantic, delicious biscuits burst with taste--hence their apt website address--and beware the heavy, filling richness of the muffins (particularly the banana-chocolate, my personal favorite). While the sandwiches, salads and other dishes are well-prepared as well, it's the baked breakfast goods that really stand out. I have brought over 20 guests here, and each one loved their brunch. That being said, note that I am only raving about the brunch (10/10): the one hamburger I had for dinner here was thoroughly disappointing (4/10). If on a weekend, be sure to arrive early to avoid the potential 2 to 3 hour wait that hits around 11:30 AM, regardless of rain, shine or snow. If only they would expand!

We've been customers at Clinton St. Baking Co. from the neighborhood for more than 7 years---instead today we went to Le Gamin on 5th Street which was really great. The hostess on Sundays is nasty and has a really short fuse with customers. Yes Clinton St. Baking is mobbed on Sundays but that's no reason not to use words like 'please' or 'thanks'. The host this past Friday night isn't much better--we felt like we'd entered a 'wise-guy joint' with this host. No one is looking for 5 star service but these people are rude!!! It used to be a neighborhood place where you wanted to go...now it's like anywhere else downtown with decent food (actually the food is always amazing--hats off to the kitchen!!!) and nasty (though not good looking) hosts. 5 is a generous rating..it's probably more like 3 because no matter how good the food the attitude of the hosts ruins the experience.

To be frank: NO. The Clinton St. Baking Co. & Restaurant is not worth the line for brunch or the the slow service in the evening hours. While the blueberry pancakes are gratifying and the maple butter reminds you of something your Grandmother would serve, your time and efforts would be better spent enjoying a meal somewhere else.
