Been going here for weekday breakfasts for 20 years. Always good, coffee is excellent and yes, they have Manhattan prices.

There's something about a SoHo joint where you can get to know the staff. I love the oversized salads. I love the whole wheat waffle with strawberries. I love the lattes that Rani (the infamous barista) makes. The decor makes me smile. I've been coming here for 15 years.... What can I say, I love this place.

The nymag.com online menu is out-of-date, my stuffed french toast was $15.95 not $11.95 as reported here. It is a cool place, and the food is good, but overall, it is overpriced in my opinon. Our waiter was not good, we watched him chat with his co-workers during our whole meal.
