Removing the scaffolding for the Halloween parade at da silvano would improve the bad situation there. Bad roofing job inside buildings need more work, exposed plaster, etc... Heat in winter, paint the hallways.
WORST MEAL EVER

ok AS IF WAITING 3 hours for your food to come isn't annoying enough, the food that my friends and i got was actually inedible. how is this still a restaurant?!?! i don't understand. the shimp appetizer i got was definitely frozen disgusting infected shrimp, and the grilled octopus special was also disgusting. i could only swallow it while simultaneously eating bread to mask the hideous flavor. oh and they blasted house music the entire time, which, if i wanted to hear i would have eaten at bagatelle, or even a mcdonalds. never again.

Yes, i went there w. two frineds and we opted for inside seating to avoid the masses outside and the waiter was kinda stink on sitting where we wanted inside - mind you no one was sitting insde. Food was not all that and def. not worth the cash we dropped. Maybe they are serving the "prime" foods to the celebs?1?!?! and toss us the leftovers?!?! ill definitely pass. I went once just to say that i've been there.

Went there last Friday with a few friends -some from Italy and some from Brazil - and the restaurant tried to cheat on me charging the "gratuity" twice. They were probably counting on the fact that we were tourists and had had two bottles of wine... did not work for them. Besides, the food is not really good and certainly not worth the price they charge for it. Another one of those places they treat you as if you were an imbecil and they are doing you a favor. Disgusting.

Food is nothing special, so why is it over-priced? Perhaps to catch a glimpse of some movie star? Not worth it and not going back. It's an overrated fad place. Try Demarco's around the corner on Houston...delicious and fair-proced. An off-shoot of DiFara's Pizzeria (rated #1 in New York from Midwood, Brooklyn.

I ate here with three foreign friends, invited in by the seemingly charming terrace. This place is anything but charming. Our server tried to take advantage of my foreign guests from the moment we walked in the door, bullying us to pay more and more. My pasta dish tasted like it had come out of the freezer, revived only by too much melted butter. Yuck! The wine list was over priced. When we received our bill, the server had considerably over-charged us for our bottle of wine and had the gall to argue with us when we asked him to credit us for the difference. This place is terrible!

One of the best lunches I've ever had! Yes, I was surrounded by some of the media elite, but that fine by me. If was virtually a feast, with an array of italian goodies of all kinds, and everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. The dessert were rich and the service/ambiance of the place was top-notch. I definitely reccomend for business meeting (expense accounts) and I'd love/will strive to go back some time.
