Great drinks and dessert
By sdw25 on 2/18/2009
My boyfriend and I passed by this restaurant after a show and decided to go in for drinks at the upstairs bar. Wow, what a beautiful, elegant restaurant! The view from the upstairs overlooking the street was pretty cool (I like how this place felt so open with so many windows). The service at the bar was outstanding - very professional and attentive. The pineapple-infused vodka martinis were incredible - well worth the price - as was the dark chocolate mousse, which was some of the best I've had. Based on my experience at the bar, I would definitely eat dinner here next time I'm in NYC.
Excellent steak, setting and service - if you like steak, youll love it

Like me youre probably unsure where you can get a great steak in NYC? I highly recommend Del Friscos. The 24oz porterhouse steak between two was the best Ive ever tasted. Waiter service and deco was also top notch. Cost wise about $60 per person incl wine, side dishes and tips. If/when I go back to NYC Ill definitely be going back for more and will more than likely have the 24oz to myself!
The best steakhouse - you MUST go there!

The service was one of the best, most attentive and professional we have ever encountered. The prix-fix menu is an excellent value, and there is no skimping on portions. The 8 oz filet was truly fabulous. The chocolate mousse was as near perfection as you could ask. We are definitely going back again, as the whole dining experience was phenomenal. A complete opposite of Gallaghers in Times Square. Del Frisco's could compete with any steakhouse, anywhere. Don't believe me? You must try it for yourself. I would have a hard time believing that they would tolerate anything but the best food or service. The wait staff couldn't try harder. Not really a place to bring the kids, but then again, what high-end steakhouse is? Pefect place for a business meal to impress!! I will also take out-of-town guests to show off.

Our waiter, Cheo, was the absolute best. He was very nice and served our meal in a timely and professional manor. The food was good too, specifically the lamb chops and the filet mignon. The desserts were very large and delicious, such as the butterscotch cheesecake. mmmmm...

Loved the decor, went for a biz lunch,I'm new to the city and heard it was a great place to go. Couldn't get my eyes off this smokin' hot hostess, so everthing after that was upside in my opinion. Steak was good also. I'd go back...every thursday for lunch!

This place is amazing, you walk in and the energy hits you. Expect to wait even with a reservation. Go for the crab cakes and the Double Eagle. The wine list is tops.
One Year Anniversary

One of the best steak houses we have ever been to. The staff and ambiance was just absolutely perfect for our One Year Anniversary. This was a night that we will remember. We have been to many restaurants in NYC, and this is now our favorite!

We loved this restaurant. The service and food was amazing. The crab cakes are to die for. We are from Toronto - we will be back in New York in two months. We can't wait to have dinner here again.
