from making a reservation (through an event planner for a party of 5) to confirming the reservation, to checking in at the front desk-all of it was a hassle. They have so much attitude and for no reason. Food is less than average, kitchen is slow, service is unattentive, fruit flies are all over the bread and food. It is a nightmare. Owners should try calling and making a reservation for a party of 5 and see how the staff treats them. Horrible experience from beginning to end

i don't know if they actually have a cook here or if they stock up on frozen foods from the grocery store and reheat it. the food is strait from the trailer park, which is probably where all there staff came from. i don't know who was more obnoxious and rude the waiter or the host. i would never return here again. please take my advice and don't waste your time or your money by even trying this place.

Why do waiters all of a sudden turn sour when you order only two mains and two beers? Sometimes you work late, go straight to restaurant but still want to watch a movie at home, no? Anyway, if only the waiting was bad... The food was the least good I had in a long time in the city. The chicken was still bloody inside and the meatloaf lukewarm... Definitly not a recommendable place.

I dined there tonight with a friend. The restaurant was pretty. House wines expensive at $12 a glass. We ordered 2 appetizers and asked for some bread and butter. The check was $96 and included in that was a charge for bread for $1-how tacky. For that reason alone, I would never go back

Totally trashed this place when I initially visited it and vowed never to return but been there with friends recently for some casual outdoor dining and people watching and found it greatly improved. The gimmicky fusion crap is mostly gone and the "heroin chic" zonked out waitstaff have been replaced with smiling, efficient young professionals. The food is fine for what you need and expect and the price points are reasonable.

Good food - all your comfort favorites along with some items you never heard of. Took my sister and my two nephews ages 9 and 12. Service was great and my nephews were not made to feel out of place. Love the music too.

I have had lunch a few times and brunch there... Happy with my meal every time... The cheeseburger rolls are ridiculous... I would keep going just for them...

Delicatessen has something for everyone - whether you are strolling in Soho and need a shopping break or if this is your night out destination, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is cool and chic, but not stuck-up, the wait staff is super friendly, food is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable! They now have the garage doors open when itÂ’s warm out and a deejay spinning great music. This is a fun time had by all. No complaints here!

Ate at Delicatessen on Saturday for a late lunch - excellent!!! Loved the turkey burger with the truffle fries, especially with the wine that Victor the bartender recommended. Mac & cheese was tasty and comforting - great for kids. The staff was helpful and nice. Cool place in Soho.
