The atmosphere is warm, the waiting staff is cool and the Presidente is served icecold. The burger is simply one of the best in NYC.

The food is wonderful, the meat is all grass-fed and well-raised and the ambiance is class 30's dining car upgraded to a sleek and comfy feel. Amazing sausage, desserts and drinks too. For photos, go to www.eatbrooklynfood.blogspot.com

I had the pork chop - delicious - with mashed potatoes - o soooooo good. Had the chocolate brownie for dessert - warm and rich - very good stuff. The place is a little pricey - the tables are a little small - as are the booths - they are 1 seater's. But overall an enjoyable experience - nice wide sidewalk and street in front - I walked there going down Berry from N8 and it was a very pleasant walk - took about 15 minutes (more if I had worn heels - but do-able). Price prevents me from going more often.

once a mainstay, this restaurant has fallen into a boring slump serving bland uninspired minature dishes with a complete absence of both sides as well as flavor. An extremely "petite" portion of halibut on the specials menu goes for $24, with no sides, floating in a tastless plain broth. Not to mention the most pedestrian martini on the planet for $9. This place needs to lose the attitude and gain an identity to stay on the map...

tad pricy, but that's Williamsburg, I suppose. Anyway, DINER is pretty damn good. They do a mean cheeseburger, and a good deal of vegetarian fare - the pork pannini is excellent too. There's something odd about the waiting staff - they seem stoned or something (just my opinion - I didn't witness anything)!

my first experience at diner was great. the staff was intimidating at first but soon i relaxed and enjoyed everything. the wait staff and bartenders are awesome, the serving sizes are huge, the setting feels like a different world. everytime i go there i fall more in love with it!
