It was everything we expected
By iloveny on 2/14/2005
Before a recent trip to New York I checked the reviews for a restaurant near our hotel and reasonably priced. The concierge at the hotel made the reservations and when we arrive the table was ready. The apptizers were very good, we had the boureck and a special or falafel and houmus. The main course was also very good: we had the lamb kebob and a chicken salad. The price for four was under $90 including coffee and tip. Highly recommended.

I try and eat at every turkish place in town as they pop up ... I always end up going back to the prettiest and the best Yegan's DIVANE ... always great , always cheap and always worth a return visit .... All I can say is "Baby Lamb Chops, WOWZA "

I went for lunch. The decor was clean and elegant. The service was top-notch: attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The presentation was beautiful and detailed. My Moussaka was divine and the portions were generous.

What a treat! A welcome addition to the theater district. We started with the hummus and then had a wonderful grilled octopus dish (not on the menu). As an entree, I tried the short ribs (also a special) and my date had the Mixed Grill. The meats were flavorful and just delicious. I can't wait to come back.
Now Thats TURKISH!!!

I love turkish food and this place does it the BEST I've had! A friend told me about this place and I reluctantly tried it as i thought it could never be as good as Turkish Kitchen but it BLOWS IT AWAY! The Lamb Chops and Doner Kebab were juicier than any ive had-anywhere. The decor is beautiful and service is the tops. I just dont know how they combine such incredible food with such reasonable prices!! This place is a MUST!
