Let me start out by saying I have been going here for the last 15yrs. During this time I have never been disappointed with a meal. The food overall is very good. The burgers and baked clams are GREAT!! The prices are inexpensive and beat any competing restaurants in the area. The service can be a little slow at times but the atmosphere more than makes up for it and makes it a pleasant wait. So if u want to enjoy a great burger and pint of Guinness go to Donovans and you wont be disappointed.

Food is horrible. Cold, taste bad, steaks are tough. If you ask for anything special (like well done french fires) they ignore you. A relative of mine insists we go here because the prices are cheap - moderate. But out of the six times I've been there I haven't had anything that was worth buying at the price they charge. Go to Applebees instead. Prices and the food are much better.

After trying Donovan's for the very first time recently, I suffered a bad case of food poisoning...it was horrible. Always wanted to try their burgers and I finally did. But it was probably their baked clams that did it for me. After wondering why after I heard such good things about this place...i found articles of food violations that they were inspected for..two weeks before i went there.
