I am from spain, please excuse my poor english. All entrees over $20 and not excellent food. Mashed black beans were disgusting and an order of three tiny tacos was $11. 40 minutes waiting fot the food. It is freezing outside even if your are under a heater. Crazy lines for the restrooms (dont drink too much beer!). Skip this restaurant and try any other place.

A few friends and I went to dinner there last weekend. SO glad we made reservations! Waited maybe 10 minutes, no biggie cause we got margaritas at the bar. In fact we got different tequlias when we had dinner. They have like over 100 or more. Patron is still my fav. The food at this place is great. The guac is so fresh and delicious. The ceviches are wonderful especially the tuna one. You'll really enjoy the tacos, at least I did. I had the tuna steak for my entree. One friend got the quesadilla, and raved. Other one that was good was the skirt steak with caramelized onions & beans. And get the fondue dessert!

I don't recommend this place. The sangria was just water, the apple martinis tasteless. Maybe their strength are tequilas? The shrimp empanadas were greasy, the only decent thing in this place as far as food is the guacamole salsa and the entrees? no big deal, not worth the money. The restrooms are disgusting! by a filthy storage room.

I ate at the Dos Caminos in Soho this past weekend with a few friends. The service was horrible. Once seated we waited 20 minutes before I approached a staff member to ask if we could at least have water while we waited for our server to acknowledge our table. The staff member did not apologize but instead appeared to be irritated with my request. We had to request chips and salsa 4 times from the same waiter before a basket was brought to our table. To top it off our waiter brought the dessert menu after we had our appetizers because he forgot that we had ordered an entrée. If the food was great I would be willing to give the restaurant another shot in the hopes that they were simply having an off night; however in a city with a plethora of amazing restaurants, the food was nothing special and certainly not worth the sub par service.

On May 3, 2004 I took some friends for drinks and apps. The service was super slow and unattentive so I left a $9 tip on a $98 bill making the total $107. Someone at Dos Caminos changed the tip to $19 on the receipt and the total to $117.
