Cheap ticket to Italy

I know it sounds corny but Gonzo is one of those places where the food is so tasty you really feel you have left US soil. The pizza crust is thin and yet not dry nor crusty, the basilic so fresh I think they must grow it in the back and the mozarella so flavourful that I have a suspicion its flown in daily from an italian dairy... the food is simple yet intricate - very much like the chef himself who brings an entire new dimension to the ''celebrity chef'' phenomenon

OVERALL A VERY ENJOYABLE DINING EXPERIENCE.PIZZAS AND APPETIZERS WERE GREAT..MAIN COURSE WAS A LITTLE SKIMPY AND ALL THE SIDES ARE ALA CARTE--BUT YOU WILL PROBABLY BE FULL BY TIME YOU GET TO MAIN COURSE..GETS A LITTLE NOISY BUT A HAPPENING PLACE.

Best pizza I have ever tasted! Can't say enough fabulous things about GONZO - and the chef is very friendly! Only negative is that it's tough to get a table. Must remember to reserve early.
Pizza...not the only thing great here

Gonzo was a pleasure to eat in all around. The service was great and so was the food. A little noisy in the back, but it fits with the casual/laid back atmosphere. The pizza was to die for. Authentic Neapolitan style. Thin crust, fresh vegetables and cheese, and real tomato sauce. The Fruliun wine selection was impressive. The main courses were large and fairly in-expensive, but it is served a la carte. So with a few veggies on the side, it could add up. A great place for a date or group setting.
Why eat anywhere else?

The only disappointing bite is the last. Each course leaves you with a sadness that there isn't anymore but on tenterhooks for the next item. You are never disappointed. The pizza is indescribable. Have the one with potato (yes, I said potato). The energy of the restaurant makes you feel like you're part of a big family sharing a feast. The service is wonderful and despite it's recent popularity you're generally seated at your reservation time!

I feel that the restaurant offers the highest quality and most diverse food and ambiance possible. Vincent Scotto and his staff are truly amazing and accommodating. The restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated. The pizza and the food is to die for. Thanks!

I just love the crust. I think it must be grilled and then they add the toppings. Its absolutely splendid. You don't feel stuffed after eating it. The chef and sister have alot of personality and its always been a pleasure to dine in their place. I can't wait to go back.
