We had a great Thanksgiving dinner. Sweet potato, Squash, and Apple Soup with aged Cheddar and Spiced Pumpkin seeds started off the meal; followed by a salad of mixed baby greens; then came classic roast turkey with apple-cornbread-pecan stuffing, sage gravy, cranberry-orange relish and broccoli; and a slice of pumpkin pie with ginger crumb crust sealed the "deal." Champagne added to the celebration. Our 1pm seating also included great service. Can't wait to go back!

We ate here 6-23-08 and were glad we did. The ambience, though understated and minimalist, was comfortable and cool. The wait staff were friendly, very attentive without being pushy and efficiently carried out their duties. It was the food that really shined however. The chick pea spread starter was simple and incredibly tasty, served with toasted bread, flavorful olives and slices of ricotta. The romaine salad with green goddess dressing and corn bread croutons was delectable. The complimentary warm breads and cornbread were equally satisfying. I had the roasted salmon entree served with yoghurt, chick peas and grapefruit. Sounded like an unusual combination but was perfectly executed and worked extremely well together. The flourless chocolate cake dessert was superb and in my opinion as good as other versions served at much more expensive venues in town. Go to Good for a very delicious, healthy and satisfying meal. Though not fancy, it is a comfortable, unpretentious place where the focus is on fresh, simple ingredients combined in unique and delectable ways. I will return.

My girfriend and I went to Good the other night and were blown away by the food. We shared the strip steak and green chile macaroni. The steak was perfectly cooked and the butter taste only enhanced the flavor of the meat. The green chile was marvelously delicious. We ordered a chocolate cake for dessert that was divine! Our server was excellent and personable. I look forward to going back.

"Good" really is just that. Not bad, but not spectacular either. By this I mean that nothing on the menu is overly posh, nor is it overly adventerous. It is about plentiful portions of hearty food with a slight flavorful twist (the green chili mac and cheese being a good example). Overall, "Good" has become a reliable standard in my culinary vocabulary

This is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants as the chef is inventive, yet the food isn't pretentious. Whether it's the pulled pork on polenta or the turkey cutlets, I'm happy at Good. We've had many a wonderful dinner here with pleasant staff, delicious drinks (mojitos, margaritas, nice wines, etc.). Prices are fair and you get great value for what you spend. Dinner with drinks might be $35 and everything is sure to please. Brunch, too, is wonderful - with a wide selection of brunch foods in the $10 price range. It's a big step up above other neighborhood restaurants.
