Ive been to Greenwich Grill twice now, and both times its been great. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the staff is pleasant & attentive, and most importantly the food is delicious. At $12, the beef curry dish is the best value in Tribeca, maybe even all of Manhattan.

Pleasant enough atmosphere and decent menu but all up this place is really just a Japanese restaurant disguised as a Western one. Some tunes (or something) in the main dining room wouldn't hurt either, was like dining in a library - shhh!

Quiet and no-nonsense, Azabu is simply the best sushi experience in NYC. From the sushi chefs to the Sake menu to the sushi itself. There is none better that this reviewer has experienced. I recommend sitting at the sushi bar.

Greenwich Grill and Sushi Azabu offer the best tasting food and service in Tribeca. I have been to upstairs and downstairs several times now and have always been amazed and curious as to how they can find such tasty ingredients in New York. Then I found out that they fly the high quality fish in from Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo each day. There are a lot of Japanese customers in this restaurant as they know the food and staff (almost all Japanese unlike most NY Japanese restaurants) are excellent. Downstairs is superb and the upstairs Japanese take on Western food is very unique in this city. Cocktails are prepared well and wine list is great. Overall, I will be back again and again. Keep up the great work.

This review pertains only to the Sushi Bar, Sushi Azabu, located in the basement of the Greenwich Grill restaurant. Walking into this rather unpretentious restaurant in Tribeca, I could not imagine the Sushi delights that lay hidden below at Sushi Azabu. It is akin to a little slice of Japan here in our neighborhood - the wait staff and sushi chefs are delightful and most helpful in their suggestions. The Sushi itself is absolutely INCREDIBLE - the best sushi I have ever had in New York and the prices are most reasonable. The room is often filled with Japanese ex-pats and I fully understand why - it is a little bit of home to them. A good restaurant satisfies.. whereas a great restaurant transports - Sushi Azabu is one such great restaurant and a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The sister restaurant Greenwich grill, which I have yet to try, shares the same kitchen and staff. Try the giant clam, Salmon Roe.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

what a nice addition to tribeca! the food is wonderful, the decor is great, and the service is impeccable. Although it is a little hard to locate on the street, it's a charming hidden jewel definately worth visiting!
