My girlfriend and I went to this restuarant last night--it quickly became apparent that the review(s) here are out of date. For starters, the place has gotten their liquor license (though, go figure, their health inspection rating is still "pending.") I'd say they have a full bar--but two out of the three items I ordered from the bar were out-of-stock. And I must admit that I was a little discomfited when the first server who showed up to tell us about the daily specials, opened by say that the restuarant, in an effort "...to improve the menu..." had "a guest chef working the kitchen. The food that emerged was okay--but nothing anyone at the table felt inclined to rave about. And the service needs to be tightened up significantly (Getting proper silverware to the table--you know nothing fancy--just your forks and knives and spoons upon request--seemed to be a real challenge.) It was, a least at lovely setting.

Went with my boyfriend, for whom food is never enough. Place is lovely, very clean and very well located. I was a little afraid about food, since "healthy" places are usually more about the health rather than the ingredients. When food arrived, big surprise... Delicious and abundant... even for my bf. Service was up to par with food, and price was very reasonable. Wish they could open some branches in LA.

Been there last week. Food is amazing and portions are big. The set up is very cool, yet unpretentious, and service was friendly and respectful. Will be back every time I'm in NY.

I've never had anything but good experiences here. I went once with a big group and got one of their delicious sandwiches, and afterwards they brought us free desserts! I highly recommend the salads and empanadas. They are extremely delicious and very filling! The manager is extremely friendly, and we have never had a problem with service there. In addition, the music is never too loud so you can actually talk to the people you're there with. Most importantly, the food is AMAZING!

Inept service, mediocre food, and ridiculous scrolls on the wall. To be avoided.

I had dinner with my best friend & our moms last Saturday night & we were pleasantly surprised to order cocktails made with organic liquor. They were probably too light on the alcohol for most drinkers, but we're total lightweights, so we enjoyed the fruitiness. The stuffing in the meat empanada was strangely sweet. 2 orders of fillet mignon (1 incorrectly arrived as the strip steak which was not chewable as ordered well done, but it was corrected) were good, my rare strip steak was difficult to chew but I should have expected that, the flavor was fine. The beef stew, again, was a bit sweet. The sides, mash potatoes, very creamy and sweet was quite delicious, the broccoli & spinach were good. Desserts, the flan, the tortita and alfajores were delicious. The service is still shaky (they forgot our salads) but it's awesome to have an all organic place to eat & drink, it's a good start!

The fresh fruit drinks were yummy. Our meal included two salads, containing lovley fresh arugala. The balsamic and the lemon dressings were delicious. The cheese was pre-grated, hard and bland. While the tofu they've chosen is excellent, it was grilled plain; marinading it would have been nice. The decor is simple, though well done. The wait staff was nice and attentive. The experience was good, though the food and portions weren't inspiring, particularly at this price point. They have a liquor license now.

This place is perfect for almost any occasion - absolutely scrumptious food, health conscious, environment conscious, and tasty fresh cocktails! I went the other day on a date - perfect atmosphere, not too loud, low lighting, and even if the service wasnt perfect, our waiter more than made up for his occasional gaps of knowledge with his friendliness and honesty. I also love that healthy does not mean vegetarian or vegan (ALTHOUGH they have those options - my dates a vegetarian). Plenty of choices on the menu for any taste, any age and they were very accommodating to some obscure request from the table next to me. Speaking of which one tiny flaw - the chairs are really high and close together which make maneuvering a bit difficult sometimes (esp in winter coats). As for the prices - its not quite an everyday sorta place, but its a very reasonably priced nice meal (not like a crazy fancy dinner) same as youd spend in most decent italian or french restaurants in the city AND more importantly its all organic! So I really cant say enough good things about this place - not 100% perfect - but i havent yet been to a restaurant that is! :) highly recommended

The service was hands down, the worst Ive ever experienced. There were TONS of waitstaff on, yet NONE could get it together enough to help any of the guests. No one spoke to us for 15 minutes after we sat down, our food took an hour to get to the table (despite that the place wasnt even close to full) and once we did get our meal we never heard or saw from our waiter EVER again. Lastly, we had to beg and nag for our check meanwhile every table surrounding ours got up and left. On the way out my friend mentioned to the manager how awful the service was. His reply? "I know, Im sorry"
