I really liked this place . The vibe was really good with a good mix of 20 - 40 somethings. Great $5 beer specials - how can you beat that? The flat breads are really good. I didn't find it too loud at all and the service was prompt and friendly but not "in your face". I never had to wait for a beverage refill and I didn't have to go looking for my server. It's a great little neighborhood hangout.

Even for basic pub food this place is not very good. Frankly I've been twice now and I'll never return. If you can't get the simple stuff like burgers and caesar salad right then I shudder to think what the main course items must be like. Its not terrible, its just sloppy and not very well done. For example, my friend's steak sandwich they didn't bother to trim the meat so there big chunks of gristle on it. They also didn't toast the bread and then slathered it with bloody meat and sauce so the bun basically disintegrated, not very appetizing. My burger was ok, a little overcooked but not bad but the fries were cold and soggy. Service is sort of indifferent and rushed, they'll drop your plate in front of you and then run away never to be seen again. We were left without silverware or condiments or water and had to go to the bar to get someone to help us, really really bad. The place is nice, lots of dark wood and brick but it is so ridiculously loud and crowded that you can barely hear yourself think. I think on a warm summer day sitting out on the patio drinking beer and snacking on pedestrian appetizers it would be OK if you were nicely drunk, but other than that I wouldn't waste the time
