I love this place. The menu is new, the food is DELISH, the waiters/waitresses are not only easy on the eyes but friendly, quick and efficient, the bartenders are hot, fast and serve up some amazing cocktails which are super cheap during happy hour. The decor is beautiful and most of all CLEAN. P.S. The restaurant DOES accept credit cards, just not during brunch. Brunch is cash only.

Had brunch and must warn people about the HORRIBLE service and below average food. The staff was incredibly rude and gave us an attitude about everything, even when they messed up our orders. Asked for drink refill 5x's, never got it. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, you can have a better experience anywhere else.

I think the food is pretty darn good here. i'm a big fan of their calamari and the endive salad. The cocktails are deliciously dangerous, and reasonably priced. I think this is a great place to go for great fashionable atmosphere in the midtown area. Very easy to get to, but away from the touristy restaurants of the theatre district.

Was exploring the city and checked out the flea market right next. nice gem in the middle of alot of muck...the neighborhood is in the process of turning around. The food was very good and portions were healthy. Service was good but could have been better...the waiter did not seem to like the fact I walked through the open garage door to get outside to street side table. I guess I should have used the front door but with all the open air space who knew there was protocol....oh well . The all you can drink special was good deal 14.95 so pretty much the cost of a drink and half and you can drink all day...lol. Cash Only was kill buzz as it was not posted anywhere...luckily I had enough cash on me.

It was a pleasant experience until the bill came and it was announced that it was cash only. The waiter trying to be helpful reminded us that "if you don't have enough cash there is an ATM along 9th Ave". Sorry, but this ruined it for me and my party and we will not return. Not a great policy in this day and age. In my book, accepting credit cards IS part of the service you provide customers.

I recently ate at Hk Cafe and what a great dining experince my wife and i had. Are food was amazing and service was great. Sam was are waiter and he was so friendly and really added to the whole experience. My wife and i definitely wil be returning. The food was so great how could we not return .

THANK HEAVEN for HELLS Kitchen! This is definately a destination hot spot. The food is amazing (you have to try the seared tuna). The presentation is just as alive as the scenery. I have been coming here for many years now and the new menu is exciting! This is a great place to take anyone because they have such an array of choices! I cant get enough of thier calamari and the waffle sundae is to die for (on your cheat day). They also have THE best cocktails for happy hour!!!

H.K . is located on the corner of 39st & 9th ave. The restaurant has an outdoor cafe on the quite side of the corner, away from all traffic. Great to bring a date and chat . The food is always good, dont forget to ask for the specials!!! I would say H.K. is the best restaurant below 42nd sreet..The mojitos are the best in the city. Try to get there before Happy Hour because it can get quite busy. Its a great place to dine thanks to their big portions and low prices... a must try!!!

it was great! friend took me for brunch this past sunday and it was beautiful! great food, great ambiance, great people. staff was fierce and the street fair an aswome touch. did dinner tonight and i had to write a review. this place is a diamond in the rough!

I ordered takeout from here. It came in a timely manner but the food was highly disappointing. I ordered the Mussels Provencale, Mushroom Ravioli, and the Apple Tart. The mussels were nothing special and a little fishy; the Mushroom Ravioli was good but I would not order from there just for that. The Apple Tart was AWFUL!!!
