If you are looking for genuine Ecuadorian Cuisine this is not the place. Being an Ecuadorian-American, who has grown up eating & cooking this untapped food fare, I highly suggest not to waste subway fare to any of the "Hornado Ecuatoriano" franchises. Their lack for spice detail leads you to believe Ecuadorian food is nothing more than simplicity in flavor. On the contrary; Being raised by a family of foodies, that have traveled much of this world with big appetites. I am here to say Ecuadorian Cuisine is as complex in flavor as its country's history. If you want a bang for your buck, plus a great representation of what it is to taste your Ecuadorian friend's mother's cooking, go to Galapagos II, 9117 37th Avenue, Flushing, NY (718) 429-5657. Believe me it may be a small store front, but it packs a big explosion of appetizing delights.
