I went for dinner this past Friday, 2/25 The food was great the service was a joke. When your busser pays more attention to the table than the server, It leave a sour taste in your mouth ,and can turn your dining experience completely around. The bigger problems came when the Band started to play, You would think you were at a concert.I spoke with a manager and was told that the owner Kenneth Collins was playing in the Band. Mr Collins you have proven that you are not very interested in the dining experience of your patrons.I'll make sure I pass that on to my Friends. Thank you for a miserable time, I will never return to your establishment.

How many ways can I say "great"??? The food at Ida Mae is outstanding. I had the foie gras appetizer and venison entree. Can't wait to go back and try the sweet potato ravioli, the signature dish. My friends loved their dishes, too--I know b/c they didn't want to share! If you go on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, be prepared to shout. The live jazz and DJ make their presences known, so it can be hard to carry on a conversation. But you'd only be talking about the food anyway.

The food and ambiance was great. A must to try are the sweet potato ravioli and marinated/grilled baby lamb chops. Some great desserts as well.

This new restaurant is a gem. We have had several different appetizers, main courses and desserts there. All were exceptional. The service is friendly but not overly pushy. The lobster and grits, pecan tart and sweet potato raviolis have been our favorites. Can't really say enough great things about it.
