2-15-2011 My wife and i tried this place out, being it is around the corner from where we live. we were both- not happy about the food, the service, and the wait staff. the appetizers were cold and it supposed to be hot. the deserts not good at all..thanks for ruining the evening. John Phelan

2-12-2011 this place is a disaster area. really it is, we USED to order here, and came here a couple of times....and the it doesnt get any worse then what we experienced. the orders repeatedly wrong, we called and complained like the owner states to do, and they claim THEY do nothing wrong and they could do no wrong. maybe this is a pattern with them and this one person running the 3 ring circus. the food is GOOD, when the order is RIGHT....until then worry about running the establishment correctly and properly and less entertaining in private rooms.... this is what i read about this place anyway..

as i read---here is another real review. we came in here very skeptical. we ordered some of the appetizers, and we werent satisfied with the prepared dishes. we ordered soome a couple of entrees and the food just didnt have what they state they are. food was blah. the dishes prepared without care. the service was absent at times, but they did ask if everything was alright. seemed a bit nervous about what our response would be. the prices do not compliment the place..a bit high. will not re-visit.

wasnt there for awhile, but i would like to state review: walking by this place yesterday afternoon on my way to the ivy...it just looked a bit of a lackluster look to it. had the food inside here many times...food is good, had a problem once or twice but, was corrected sometimes... the service could be absent minded, but they try. stating being authentic? i dont think so, its basic italian dishes not specializing in and type of special dishes from regions of italy......it has an acceptable wine list, could be better and had better. i had better food......

the menu is just old.......had some of the plates here nothing new....although the are good, not great---but good. place needs a remake or something. we used to order in from here, but were many times it took too long for food to arrive. so we only deal with this place if necessary not on the top of our list anymore.

you could complain about the reviews but the reality is they never disappear. as stated before. the food and service and quality of peopel running needs to be desired. the food was just OK. the wine menu was tired. nothign new on the list. the pasta dishes drowning in the sauces.... and prepared messy on the plate. waited for some type of service, but it was frustrating to see the staff hangin out at the bar with disregard to the paying customers.

we were forced to go here...again1 we explained and they said give it a second chance. we did...and its the same quality (low) food we receoved the last time. the pasta dishes were nothing to write home about. the other dishes were just Ok. had enough and now the people that joined us agreed. we explained the service and they agreed that need improvement as well.
