Inoteca is the lower east side's answer to Pastis. Dining outside in the warm summer weather with a glass of pinot blanc and an antipasti plate is really a treat in NYC. Munch on a panini, try an assortment of cheeses (the ubriaco is insane), kick back and enjoy life for a few hours. No reason to rush when you're here...you almost feel like you're actually in Italy for one moment. Service is great and the atmosphere is calm and serene. A great place to fall in love.

If you want a place that's trendy without the attitude, where the dishes are unique and delicious without the high prices and where the waitstaff is there to make sure you enjoy your night -'inoteca will be your new favorite place. It's the restaurant you've been looking for but just couldn't seem to find. There is something for everyone on the wine list in terms of taste and price. The downstairs area is perfect for larger groups wanting to eat, drink and be merry but not wanting to empty their wallets. As a native New Yorker, this is one of the best retaurants I have been to in the city. They don't take reservations for small parties, so relax and have a drink at the bar -trust me it's worth the wait!

Regional Italian wines - ask the barkeep for a taste. Fresh heirloom tomatoes taste just picked. Eggplant lasagne - no guilt! Can't beat the price. The attentive service seals the deal.

Had a superb meal here. Go with friends as you can sample so many selections from dried classic italian meats to 9 different cheeses. Dinner was complimented by some fabulous wines recommended by Joe off of their 200 bottle list. Head on shrimp comes in an absolutely delicious honey glaze, cacciatore fell right off the bone and the asparagus fennel and shaved parmigiano was a crispy treat. Dessert was a simple hot shot of espresso over vanilla bean ice cream. Divine place, great value, Hot Hot Hot neighborhood

I was at 'inoteca for dinner and drinks with friends and loved it. The eggplant lasagna was amazing! Nice warm atmosphere and tons of wine to choose from. The owners are always wonderful and helpful, as well.
