Went to Inoteca with my family and we were all pleasantly surprised. As Italians, we don't usually choose to go out for Italian food as we can usually cook the same food ourselves, but were we ever impressed with the plates here! We started with the beets, orange, pecorino, mint & hazelnuts and the antipasti plate, both delicious to get your appetite going. For dinner I had the Occhi di Lupo pasta dish which was accompanied by a very generous helping of mussels and calamari. If you like seafood/pasta dishes, I would highly recommend this. They definitely did not cheap out on portions. The service was great and the wine director was very helpful in guiding us to our choice of wine for the meal. The decor is simple and doesn't distract you from enjoying a great meal among your friends or family. I would most definitely go back on my next visit to New York.

Sat at the bar w/ a friend and had the polpo spiedini, bruschetta, and the beet salad. We loved everything - including the wine and the bar tender. I don't love the decor, but it's fine. Overall would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
