Dear Intermezzo Restaurant, We almost enjoyed dinner at your place on 8th Ave last night. Decent Italian food, nice decor. But the music!! If that's what it was, because it sounded more like wailing of a million tormented souls straight from the bowels of hell. Horrible techno remixes of well known songs are not conducive to a good evening, especially when they are played at ear bleed volume, and on a loop. I will never forgive what you did to Gotye, and Vogue by Madonna is bad enough without being "mixed" by some headcase DJ who has meth speedballs for breakfast, washed down with lsd absinthe chasers. My food turned to stone listening to your vile, hideous soundtrack. . I was ready to blow eggplant parmigana chunks into cupped hands when we left. Please.Fix the freaking music. For humanity.

We have been going here for ten years and never complained....but the food has taken a terrible nosedive. We ate on sat 4/21 and vowed to never return. The food was simply awful!! How do new people take a great food bargain and make it BAD!!My Veal has so overcooked that it had no taste and my partner had a veal parm with a the same veal with a slice of cheese on it. In this neighborhood, people will not put up with bad food....too many
