We placed our order and were never able to get waitress's attention again. After we finished food, nobody cleaned our plates, we tried to get someone to do so for about 30 min. Dessert that was part of the pre-fix never arrived either, check was shoved into our faces by a rude waitress after my husband walked over to her and asked for it. No adjustment for missing dessert, no apologies. One of my kids was crying, because he wanted a dessert. We'll never go back.

We arrived at Isabella's with a party if 5. It was a 10 minute wait (at the bar) and we were seated at a lovely table. The crab Benedict was fantastic and the pork BBQ sliders were appreciated by our 13 year old son! Our experience was delightful and our waiter was friendly, helpful and attentive!

Went for brunch this morning and my smoked salmon benedict was really delicious. It was served over a buttermilk biscuit with loads of creamy hollandaise (which was advertised as dill hollandaise but turned out to be spicy with no dill flavor, but I wouldn't complain because it tasted really good.) The waitress was attentive but not overbearing. Brunch came with a free coffee which was appreciated with a $16 breakfast. Only bad side is the restaurant was so crowded and I was seated next to the kitchen - staff kept bumping into me and my jacket was knocked off the back of my chair at least 3 times.

Food was good. Tables crowded and server had a terrible attitude.

Just got back from Isabella's: I got a very bad experience. Snobish and pretentious. Food is all right. Manager clearly incompetent.

Isabellas used to be one of my favorite UWS restaurant. Unfortunately (due to direction changes?) it's definitely not anymore a good place to go. Service is just correct, food is average and still very expensive. Isabellas is joining the club of pretentious restaurant in NY. It's very disapointing...

I got a pasta dish with linguini and sun-dried tomatoes and chicken. It was a big soupy flavorless mess. None of the flavors went together- I could have experimented at home in my kitchen and done better. $9 for a cheap glass of pinot grigio that they sell for SIX DOLLARS A BOTTLE at the liquor store two blocks away I'm not kidding. Bread was either stale or way over toasted. And finally, the hostess, who our server told us was the manager, was too busy yelling at a server to greet us when we came in. We were waiting for a smile or something but were quickly herded to a wobbly table instead.

Isabella's, from the perspective of food, is slightly above average. The home-made pastas are quite tasty and the salads are brightly pleasing. But the main draw to this location, is in fact its location. The french-door lined facade, large plant arrangements and mellow green walls are scintillating and equally relaxing. There is something subtly indulgent about the atmosphere that will infinitely make you appreciate the food more.

I ordered the fresh homeade pasta and it was amazing, light and flavorful. I also had their signature dark chocolate "bag" filled with raspberry mousse and that was also quite delicious. The service was very friendly and knowledgable and I had a great time overall. I highly recommend this place for a date or just a nice dinner with friends or family.

went here for lunch once with a friend, although the food wasnt mindblowingly amazing, it was well prepared and flavorful. both my friend and I were satisfied with what we ate and could not complain about the price. If your looking for a 4 star meal dont expect it, but if you want a reliable meal that you know will be worth the price and taste good, definately check it out.
