This fun loving restaurant is the second Jacques-Imo's Cafe opened by chef Jacques Leonardi. The original was opened in New Orleans in 1996. Both serve up exquisite Cajun, Creole and Soul food dishes. Abita beer is available, and the environment is always festive. The shrimp and alligator sausage cheesecake is a personal favorite, but every item on the menu is delicious. This is definitely the best place in NYC to get Louisiana food. http://www.jacquesimoscafe.com/index.htm
