Just went here and loved the vibe. Music was great and the service was well-timed. I got the Mediterranean Salad and Jane Burger and it was delicious. I'll definitely be going back.

I was very much looking forward to returning to Jane, as I have been there for dinner and the food was fabulous. However, brunch appears to be a completely different story because I never made it inside. I made reservations for 4 at 1:45 and when we arrived, the number of people waiting outside matched those that were actually eating in the restaurant. We checked in with a rude, blonde hostess and went back outside to wait. We checked in again at 2 and one more time at 2:15. Now when making reservations, I expect to wait 5, 10, MAYBE 15 minutes, but not a half hour or longer. The hostesses were rude, dismissive, and did nothing to try to help our situation. I understand that the restaurant was very busy, but, at least be apologetic and endearing when telling us we're going to have to wait longer. Also, when they came outside to call names, they did so with no effort and at a volume barely audible - like they couldn't give a crap if they found the people or not. Needless to say, we left and went to Dos Caminos across the street for brunch instead. Now this place, I highly recommended - we were seated right away, got a free drink with brunch, and the food and wait service were excellent!

Good food at reasonable prices, with friendly if not super-attentive service. I like the relaxed atmosphere and fact that it is not overrun--can actually show up for brunch or dinner and expect to get a table within 15 minutes. The crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside vanilla french toast is excellent. The corn pancake on the Eggs Johnny is a little sweet, but its an otherwise good dish--the fried potatoes are perfectly salty. The pomegranate lemonade is a good balance of sweet and sour, better than the too-sour lemonade.

Nice looking place...but really negative experience. The food wasn't even that great...I got breakfast and in all honesty...it felt like I was eating from a box of Aunt Jemima. besides the food...the service was the killing point. I will never give them my money ever again. In particular, something about the waitress was weird. She was slow and for a strange reason she misunderstood the bill. $80 was the bill total with $60 cash and specifically told that $20 was credit. I was in a rush, the stupid woman took the $60 cash as tip and charged the whole meal again on the card. It wasn't until later I realized they did this. How do you not see what is going on. I argued that they cheated me and they just refused to give the money back after I was able to provide the name of the woman who messed it up as well as witnesses. I just don't get it. Horrible experience. If there was a negative star rating, I'd be the first one on it.

The burger was slated on the menu simply as “Jane Burger” with white cheddar, double smoke bacon, special sauce and fries. After careful interrogation of the waitress, I found out that there was a creamy mayonnaise based jalapeno marmalade and tangy green pickled tomatoes hidden in there also. The burger arrived, and was gargantuan! Served on a fat brioche bun with crispy french fries and cheese oozing out the Jane restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy good decent brunch fare, while shopping in Soho, or maybe before catching a frou-frou artistically saturated film at the Angelika ? www.dmanburger.com

We went for Sunday brunch and waited an hour to be seated because we heard the brunch was amazing. I don't know why people think this place is so good for brunch. The food was ok, but you can definitely get the same quality down the street from another restaurant without having to wait such a long time to get a seat. The bloody mary which is supposed to be the best was not good at all, the grits are not even grits it is Farina that they try to pass off so if you think that you are going to be getting grits don't waste your money. Everyone seems to think the brunch here is so amazing but if you know anything about good tasting food and have other brunch places that you thoroughly enjoy I would go to those places before trying this place. Hope this helps some of you make a decision!

Honestly food was decent. Maybe what I got was strange. Service was decent. Food took FOREVER even though it was an awkward hour. I went into this place with a handful of my friends. 4 out of 5 of them paid with cash, I paid with card. I told the waitress "pay the rest on my card and the rest is cash." The waitress charged me the ENTIRE bill and most likely took the cash as her own tip. I was late for a meeting and rushed out. If anything, i advise be careful with the bill...it just happened bad judgement on my part and shady waitress. Cheers to Jane who made $120 that day.

Went for my boyfriends birthday and he loved the steak with the amazing fries. I had the mussels which were good, but the wine flavor was very very overwhelming. We also ordered the over sized cookies with a candle and they were good as well. The menu could use some more options, we felt a little limited with the choices given. Overall, the food was good and it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be, we made reservations, but I didn't think they were needed this particular Saturday night.

Normally at places like this your $12 app is tiny. But this had healthy portions and the food was really, really good. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Love this place! Amazing burgers (w/ tons of crispy fries) and great goat cheese flatbread- not too $, great drinks, original and refreshing- I had a blast w/ my girlfriends here before a night out. We even wanted to go to brunch the next day w/ our hangovers but it was too busy so make a reservation! Cannot wait to go back!
