Along with my friends,at work, went to Jewel Of India to have the Buffet Lunch. The place was busy and had to wait for a couple of minutes before we were seated...The spread was really elaborate and the food tasted fresh and flavorful. The servers were busy but still hot breads were being passedon each seated table.. the attitude of the staff was to pamper the guest. Today was my third visit in last ten days and I felt good food and service should be commended...hence the review. Go for it.. you will like it too.

On a recent visit to the city with my family, we decided to try the spice route and reserved a table for 4 at Jewel Of India. The person who answered the phone was very courteous and polite. The hostess who received and greeted us was very charming. The service staff was very efficient and friendly . The food was prepared beautifully.. the lamb chops and fish tikka was awesome.. My family agreed it was a good value for money.

The sumptious lavish lunch buffet at $16.95 is another reason why this place is a hot favorite.

The board outside mentioned "under new management" and for sure there is a marked improvement .. the staff was courteous , attentive and very helpful, they enquired about the tolerance for spices and got the dishes prepared to our taste .. me and my group of office colleagues are beginning to fancy .. this place..

My girlfriend is Asian and she suggested I get familier with the spices .. she booked a table at the restaurant.I was pleasantly surprised with the hospitality .. on confirming our reservation the hostess addressed me by my name.. escorted us to the table.. the Maitre de had a pleasant personality ,put us at ease and after enquiring about our tolerance for spice level recommended a great lamb dish and shrimp in savory sauce ,both the dishes were very flavorful and great on the taste buds.. my girl friend is vegetarian and she was more than happy with the vegetarian selection ..The bill was moderate.. with two glasses of wine was around $80 with the taxes .Had a wonderful evening...
