I have been going to Johnny's since I was a kid and now I am in my 40's. I have taken my two kids to Johnny's. We go crazy over the scrumptious shrimp, lobster, fries and corn on the cob. The workers are so fast but also courteous. I always go in the summer and it's always packed inside the restaurant and outside and the tables. I like how they constructed rope above the outdoor tables to keep the birds from landing on the tables and bothering you to get at your food. That's what they used to do when I went as a kid. I like to go early before a long line forms outside. Hurry and go there before they close for the winter, you'll be glad you did.

johnnys shrimp spanks tonys hands down. the cafeteria stlyle beats the cheese line style at tonys. Been going to johnnys since back in the day. since moving from the bx. i have to travel 50 miles just to eat shrimp and do it at least twice a week. They close for 3 months and i wait like a crack head untill they open again thats how much i love the food. in the winter the bathroom are freezing but clean. but would rather freeze then using tonys nasty ass bathrooms.

I love Johnny's to the point I have their phone number programmed in my phone so I know when they reopen. The shrimps are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My kids and I go as often as we can which is almost every 2 weeks and the staff is wonderful and know us. We just walk up to the counter and all you hear is CAMARONES TRES!!!! Only downfalls is the price goes up every couple of years but the portions don't and that they close right after thanksgiving until end of Feb.

This place is great for when you're in the mood for seafood without all the fuss of a fancy place. The food is amazing, I've been going since I was a kid with my parents. Now I go with my fiance. The food isnt that expensive, its really good. The decor reminds me of a public school cafeteria and if you're not a seafood lover but your group is they have fried chicken and burgers too...

I always take my fiance to Johnny Reef's on a Friday evening, especially during the summer. We always enjoy the lobster tails & crab legs they serve. Once in a while, we order the traditional hamburger or hotdog platter. It is excellent. The point is that when we order our food, we bring it outside and enjoy the nice view of the water. I recommend it to seafood lovers.
